The webinar will provide an overview of the Smithsonian Institution’s activities in support of U.S. policy to help protect and preserve cultural heritage around the globe. In this session, a panel of specialists from the Smithsonian will present overviews and case studies of Smithsonian work before, during, and after situations involving cultural heritage at risk and discuss the law governing these activities.
